"Runaway Jury"

I think after beginning the movie that the outcome of the trial will favor the widow. i think Nick and Marlee might be able to start gaining control but it wont last, and in the end the jury will favor Celeste. There is already a strong case being built against the gun company. While interrogating the gun salesman, they show how procedures weren't being followed and they weren't following up on the man buying numerous guns each month. This fact shows how the company is at partial fault for the deaths.
in the movie, we have already seen that Nick and Marlee can control what goes on with the jury, but they dont have the councils convinced of their power yet. i think Fitch will try and buy them off to make sure things go in his favor. but Nick and Marlee will eventually see that the jury should vote in favor of Celeste and forget about the money.

  1. I think you are right concerning that the trial will go for the widow, Celeste Wood. As for Marlee and Nick, they did seem like they were getting into more than they could handle but sometimes small things can pack a big punch like we saw at the end of the movie with Marlee and Nick's secret past.

  2. Your absolutly right, I noticed that point about the gun salesman as well, which proved the gun company did have something to do with the the murder of Jacob Wood. I hope Celeste wins to because the gun companies deserve to pay up

  3. I like your stand on the movie so far. You clearly state your opinion and explain it in this article. I agree that the gun company in this movie was partially responsible for the deaths in the shooting at the office. I think the gun company could have made it harder for the shooter to kill if they would have had those policies in place.
